Snow Day Stats is a one-person website about snow sculpting, snowflake macro photography and snow crystal science, written by Mateo Elias. The best way to reach me is by email:

What you can write to me about

• Questions about an article. Include the article link and what you're trying to do. Mention your conditions (air temperature, snow type, sun or shade) or your gear (camera, lens, lighting). Specific details get you a specific answer.
• Corrections. If you spot a factual error, a wrong figure or a broken link, send me the article link, what's wrong, and a source if you have one. I check every report, fix confirmed errors, and note significant corrections at the end of the article.
• Your own work. I'm always glad to see readers' snow sculptures, snowflake photos and crystal-growing results. I will never publish anything you send without your written permission, and I'll always credit you.
• Collaboration and media. Snow sculpting events, photography projects, research groups and press enquiries are all welcome.

Before you write

• I can't give safety approval for a specific sculpture, structure or piece of equipment. Please read the Disclaimer.
• Please don't send passwords, payment details or other sensitive personal information by email.

How I handle the information in your email is explained in the Privacy Policy.
